Holy crap! Finally! That's awesome. Thanks for the update. If I were in the market for an affordable compact economy car, I'd buy a Mazda 3 hatch w/ the 2.5 & 6 speed.

I figured they would release the 2.5 and manual option eventually, since the 6 has had it since launch.

We bought my wife's loaded 2008 CX-9 AWD GT for just over $30k (back when gas was over $4 a gallon that summer). =)
